Across the news today on TV and in the papers is a sketch of a man who is wanted in connection with the Madeleine McCann disappearance. A tourist reported seeing someone "creepy" near the apartment on the day she vanished. The momentum and ridiculousness of this case still amazes me. Someone who has just remembered seeing someone a bit weird in the vicinity of the apartment decides to come forward now. All of the media scrabble to get the picture.
Despite the constant coverage of "breakthroughs" and "exclusives" we are still no further forward in discovering what happened to Madeleine than we were 8 months ago.
